In 1882 the Canadian Pacific Railway pushed construction of Canada's first transcontinental railway across Saskatchewan.  Before it reached the future site of Indian Head, a massive corporate farm was being built but a mile north of the railway right of way.  Now, over 125 years later, technology has changed dramatically, and we are able to offer you a website designed to give you historical and current information on the Bell Barn Project, a local initiative to preserve one of western Canada's most interesting historic sites.

Initiated in 2006, the Bell Barn Project has received the support of many people and organizations, including two very prominent Saskatchewanians: Dr Lynda Haverstock and Eric Peterson.
