2010 - Eleanor Holden with original artifacts from the Bell Farmhouse
28 April 2010 - Eleanor Holden, who lived in the Bell Farmhouse before its demolition in the 1950s, donated the original Farmhouse newel post and doorknobs to the Bell Barn Society on April 28, 2010. They were salvaged by the Holden family from the house interior during its demolition, and are now on display inside the reconstructed Bell Barn.
It is not known if the newel post was part of the original 1882 construction of the house, or installed during early 20th century renovations by the Campkin family. However, the doorknobs are definitely from the renovation era, as they appear in a 1907 Lyons catalogue published by the United States Steel Company, promoting its various door knobs and escutcheon plates.
